Laguna surface wave radar

Laguna radar system provides persistent, active surveillance of ship and air traffic in the 200 nautical mile Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). A powerful tool in the struggle to protect the marine environment for the efficient and effective deployment of surface and airborne patrol and interdiction assets. The Laguna radar system makes use of the ability of short band radio waves to propagate over the horizon along the surface of water. This allows the radar system to detect sea and aerial targets at significant distances over the horizon as well as within the direct line of sight.

Automatic detection of vessels and airplanes and their motion parameters
Communicate with command and control systems
Deployed directly on the sea coast
The equipment of the radar system uses modern Russian and foreign circuit boards. The radar system is delivered in two autonomous containers featuring air conditioning, automatic fire alarms and fire extinguishing means
